I.D. Cards

As a short-term renter in The Villages, you will need to get a “Resident ID” card for each person in your household. The owner of your rented house does this on your behalf. It’s good to ask them about this as soon as you secure a rental agreement, even before you arrive. That way, you can pickup your card(s) as soon as your rental period starts. In turn, once you have your own Resident ID cards, if you have house guests (as your own rental contract may permit), they will also need guest ID cards. The guest IDs are managed by the district government and their policy/information can be found <HERE>. You can get those guest cards <HERE>. You will pickup their cards at one of the regional recreation centers.

  • Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm: District Customer Service and all regional recreation centers (Paradise, La Hacienda, Savannah, Mulberry Grove, Laurel Manor, Lake Miona, Colony Cottage, SeaBreeze, Eisenhower, Rohan and Fenney)
  • Saturday & Sunday 8:30 am – 12 pm: La Hacienda, Lake Miona, Eisenhower, Rohan and Everglades Regional Recreation Centers Only
