The primary app for The Villages is a valuable tool to install on your smartphone BEFORE you step foot into The Villages. There is a wealth of information including:

- A complete calendar of events for every day. This list is dizzying since every recreation and community center event is listed daily from 7am until late at night!
- Those events you want to remember can be recalled under “My Villages”
- There are live cameras streaming video in all the town squares
- Play music from The Villages radio station (WVLG)
- Check out the daily and weekly weather specific to this area
The Villages app has built-in navigation for driving in your car or driving via golf cart. Honestly, it is “OK”. But, there is a newer separate GPS app that is dedicated to more “Google-like” mapping directions within The Villages.

You can filter the huge list by date or location and then “save” them to your own personal calendar.
Most events (click for details) also has a point of contact that may be the red center staff or may be an individual club representative. Call or e-mail for details, but 99% of all events are wide open to anyone!
