Living the lifestyle in The Villages isn’t complete until you purchase a home.
The Villages has experienced ongoing development for decades. As a result, the types/styles, and sizes of homes has changed over the years.
There are two main paths for searching for homes in The Villages. The first is The Villages in-house real estate company. The second path is through a real estate brokerage that is not directly affiliated with The Villages.
The Villages Real Estate Team
There are several hundred agents that work under the umbrella of The Villages real estate sales offices. Currently (as of 2022), they are primarily chartered with selling new sites and new homes in the southern neighborhoods South of the Florida turnpike. Although that may a harsh statement, the Villages team also does list pre-owned homes throughout the entire Villages 4-county area.
You can search the properties for sale through the Villages sales offices by using The Villages app, and many homes are featured daily in the Daily Sun newspaper.

Additionally, there are homes for sale through traditional real estate brokerages in the area.
