The primary source for information about each of the Championship or Executive golf courses is found at Golf The Villages.
But, here is a quick novice summary of the courses. Note that the executive courses (9-holes) in The Villages are do not have a USGA handicap slope/index, so you will not be posting scores on these courses. The Championship courses do have USGA handicap slope/index ratings, so you need to post your scores when playing those courses.
The Championship Courses have on-property clubhouses, restaurants, pools, and tennis facilities (well, mostly)..Click on the course name below to go to the details. Note that the pools at championship courses are reserved for The Villages Priority memberships only. This is a 6-month or annual membership so not likely applicable to most snowbirds and short-term renters.
Lucy’s Tip:
Some of the CHAMPIONSHIP courses in The Villages are 27-holes courses. So the slope/index depends on which of the nine’s you play. So, when you post a score to GHIN, be sure to watch which of the front/back combinations you played when posting a score.
