As students of The Villages 101, you will often see or hear the term “Inside The Bubble” referring to the areas within the Villages. As an aid to better understand the geography, we offer the following sub-pages that let you get acquainted with driving around both inside and outside the bubble!

The Villages has a central government with (at last count) 17 districts. I won’t try to elaborate on the actual structure here. There is plenty of information on the web site <HERE>.

The web site states that “The Villages community is comprised of 17 special purpose districts, established pursuant to Florida State Statutes, which are responsible for a variety of functions including maintenance, recreation, public safety, sanitation, water and wastewater services.  We encourage you to keep up with What’s Happening in the community by signing up for E-notifications, attending District Board Meetings, and taking advantage of one of our many learning opportunities – our District Weekly BulletinCDD Orientation, and Resident Academy.”
